Blogging Hiatus

Dollar Flipper Blog Update

This is tough for me, but I’m going to take a break for a few months on here.

I’m not managing all life stresses well right now. We have a busy summer, work is pretty busy too, and the girls just grow up so fast. I don’t want to spend my time on the computer when I can be doing other things around my house and with the girls.

I don’t even own a boat.

Here’s what I promise to keep doing:

  • Listing – I’m going to do more of it! Instead of trying to write two times per week here (that’s about 4 mornings worth of work minimum), I’m going to focus on listing. I need some action, and I feel like writing on the blog gives me the satisfaction of working on eBay, but doesn’t impact my death piles. I need to change that.
  • Monthly Update – even though I’m going to be focusing on non-blog things, I’ll keep updating my numbers. That post doesn’t take a long time, and I think keeping track of progress is important.
  • Working out – I’m feeling better. I’m lifting again and playing volleyball. I feel much more gloomy when I’m not active.
  • E-Mails – I’m going to keep responding to e-mails from the site. Feel free to e-mail me with a question. Chris AT FlippingADollar DOT Com.

Who knows, maybe I’ll feel refreshed after a big eBay push. It’s funny because I have TONS of draft posts with really good topics. Content definitely isn’t the issue here. It all comes down to time. Writing a decent blog post takes a lot of time and focus, but it doesn’t move that inventory through my eBay process! Focusing on listing will help me get into a better space. I’ll revisit after a few months to see if I want to keep this up.
