DVDs aren’t as popular as they used to be. We like having a sense of ownership, and an electronic download (or stream) just isn’t tangible. Some DVDs are still worth something, though – Sealed DVD Box Sets!
Getting sick is the worst. Not only are we feeling terrible, but sometimes there is the added stress of the deadlines you’re missing. As part-time eBay seller, it’s worse since I have a full time job on top of this hobby. Recently I got sick, and then my daughter got sick another time. Here’s how I dealt with those situations!
Toyota recently announced that it’s going to absorb its Scion brand back into the Toyota namesake. As a Scion xB owner, this is really depressing. From the first time I drove in a Scion xB I knew that I wanted one. It’s a great family car, and it’s the perfect eBay car.
Do you have piles to list around your house? Sick of the clutter from your eBay buys? Me too. I have a new goal to get me to a comfortable level of “to list” inventory – FIFO – First in Last Out.
eBay’s no hassle return program has a good side and a bad side. The good is that you don’t have to go back and forth with the customer. I found this vintage GE flip roll alarm clock at an estate sale. It was easy to test and easy to ship. I’ll keep a lookout for any of these I can get on the cheap in the future!
Back in September 2015, we added a new member to the Flipper household.

I’ve given it some time (baby is almost 5 months now!), and I’m looking at ways to handle some of this additional stress while still improving in other areas.
The clothing you sell should be clean. Thrift stores have great deals, but much like your grandmother’s closet, some of the clothes just have a funky smell. It could be perfume, mothballs, a stale smell, or some strange combination of all of the above. I call this Eau de Thrift Store. 99% of the time, I don’t clean any clothes I buy to re-sell. When something has a funk, I have a general plan of attack.
We’re going to do something a little different than last year. For 2015 I would compare profits month to month. Now that I have a bigger data set, I’m going to compare month to month still, but across years! So read on and you’ll see January 2016 compares to January 2015.
You may have heard that there was blizzard of 30+”. I had big plans for the time I’d be stuck inside. I thought I would get some free time. Boy, was I wrong.
